WILMINGTON, Delaware (Reuters) – Berkshire Hathaway (NYSE:) Inc’s Warren Buffett has held discussions with senior Biden adminstration officers concerning the banking disaster, a supply conversant in the matter instructed Reuters on Saturday.
The White Home and U.S. Treasury declined to remark. Bloomberg Information reported earlier that Buffett had been in contact with administration officers in current days concerning the regional banking disaster, Bloomberg Information reported on Saturday.
The supply declined to elaborate on the small print of the discussions.
The collapse of Silicon Valley Financial institution and Signature Financial institution (NASDAQ:) this month has shaken confidence within the banking system and prompted a sell-off in banking shares.
