(Reuters) – Regional British airline Flybe has ceased buying and selling and cancelled all scheduled flights, the corporate mentioned on Saturday.

Flybe posted on Twitter that it had been positioned into administration, including that flights to and from Britain wouldn’t be rescheduled. “David Pike and Mike Pink of Interpath have been appointed directors,” it mentioned.

Paul Smith, client director on the nation’s Civil Aviation Authority, mentioned in a press release, “Flybe’s determination to cease buying and selling will probably be distressing for all of its workers and prospects.”

Flybe was attempting to revive after collapsing in March 2020 on a plunge in demand because of COVID-19.
