TORONTO, April 21, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — A tentative deal was reached late final evening between SEIU Native 2 and the Woodbine Leisure Group (WEG), which owns and operates Woodbine and Mohawk Racetracks.

Ratification votes are scheduled for Sunday April 23^rd and Monday the 24^th.

SEIU represents start-gate staff (the people who load horses into the beginning gate for races), upkeep, janitorial and safety personnel.
