The French luxurious model was awarded $133,000 in damages for trademark infringement, dilution, and cybersquatting, a violation that entails registering or utilizing a model’s trademark in dangerous religion. The jury didn’t agree that Rothschild’s “MetaBirkins” constituted a protected type of speech beneath the First Modification.
