OAKLAND, California, (Reuters) -Chip producer GlobalFoundries Inc stated on Wednesday it had filed a lawsuit in opposition to Worldwide Enterprise Machines (NYSE:) Corp, accusing it of unlawfully sharing confidential mental property and commerce secrets and techniques.

New York-based GlobalFoundries stated in its criticism that IBM had shared IP and commerce secrets and techniques with Rapidus, a brand new state-backed Japanese consortium that IBM is working with to develop and produce cutting-edge two-nanometre chips.
