Forest Whitaker is increasing his Whitaker Peace and Growth Initiative (WPDI) with the launch of a brand new Group Studying Middle (CLC) within the poorest space of metropolitan France.

On Wednesday, the Academy Award-winning actor was in Aubervilliers, a city in Seine-Saint-Denis simply north of Paris, France for the ribbon-cutting ceremony of the WPDI’s newest CLC. The middle supplies free entry to programs for youth, girls, and different susceptible teams that concentrate on ICT, Entrepreneurship, and Battle Decision.

It’s among the many 15 areas Whitaker has opened to develop a grassroots Youth Peacemaker Community since launching the WPDI in 2012. Different CLCs are situated in impoverished areas of South Sudan, Mexico, Uganda, and South Africa.
