My good friend and fellow Mile Finish Highway economist Danny Blanchflower has fallen foul of Twitter. They’ve suspended his account:

I’ve spoken to Danny.

He has been given no cause for his suspension.

There may be, apparently, no attraction.

This isn’t the way in which for Twitter to win mates, affect, customers, and on the finish of the day, income.

I hope they modify their thoughts. No matter Danny did unsuitable, his opinion is price listening to. And if he’s slightly sturdy at instances, so is the world that we reside in.

That world can also be unfair and anti-democratic. It appears Twitter is intent on replicating that.

In the meantime, the rationale why I’ve dropped the concentrate on Twitter that I had at one time to pay attention effort right here is, I believe, simple to know.
