REC Ltd on Wednesday mentioned its wholly-owned subsidiary REC Energy Improvement and Consultancy Ltd handed over Khavda II-A Transmission Ltd to Adani Transmission Ltd.

Khavda II-A Transmission Ltd is a particular function automobile in Gujarat.

“REC Energy Improvement and Consultancy handed over the project-specific SPV fashioned for the development of transmission undertaking viz., ‘Khavda II-A Transmission Restricted to Adani Transmission Restricted on twenty eighth March 2023,” the corporate mentioned in an announcement.

Adani Transmission has emerged because the profitable bidder of the inter-state transmission undertaking of the ministry of energy, the place REC Energy Improvement and Consultancy was the bid course of coordinator.

The SPV was handed over by Rahul Dwivedi, CEO, REC Energy Improvement and Consultancy, to Ishwar Kailashnath Dubey, Vice President, Adani Transmission Ltd.

The work includes the implementation of a 765 kV double circuit line from Khavda Pooling Station-2 (KPS2) to Lakadia. The undertaking for implementation is focused in 24 months.

With the handing over of the above SPV, REC Energy Improvement and Consultancy efficiently handed over 51 transmission tasks until now, costing round Rs 69,872 crore.
