One of many Inexperienced Berets’ first Black officers will obtain his long-overdue flowers within the type of a Medal of Honor for his service within the Vietnam Warfare.

In response to CBS Information, President Joe Biden referred to as Col. Paris Davis to inform the retired veteran he might be acknowledged for his valor.

CBS additionally reported that Col. Davis’ paperwork for the Medal of Honor instantly disappeared in 1965, on the peak of the civil rights motion.
